Neal Cavanaugh

Hello, I’m Neal Cavanaugh and I am a born and raised resident of Glastonbury. What I have always loved about this town is the community and scenery. Growing up I enjoyed hiking and riding bikes through the woods, and eating all the fresh fruit during summer and fall months. Born into a first responder family I joined the volunteer fire department when I was 18 years old, began working on an ambulance, achieved my end goal of becoming a police officer, and now have over 15 years of experience in public safety.

I believe in supporting our local fire departments as best we can, and keeping this valuable resource running at its highest potential. Becoming a fire commissioner helps me give back to my community by further supporting our local first responders.
