BoE Candidate Forum & Reception

The Glastonbury Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO) cordially invites all Glastonbury residents to the 2023 Board of Education Candidate Forum & Reception. The Forum & Reception will be held at Smith Middle School Auditorium on October 19th from 7:00 – 8:30 pm, with doors opening at 6:45 pm. Questions will be determined by the PTSO and asked to candidates by the Moderator.  All seven candidates who are running to fill seats open on the Board of Education this fall will be participating.   Note that voters may vote for up to three candidates; the top five vote getters will be elected.

Following the Forum,  light refreshments will be served from 8:00 – 8:30 pm with an opportunity to meet with the candidates and ask any additional questions.  The PTSO’s goal is to promote a civil discourse that allows Glastonbury citizens to get to know the BOE candidates better and be informed on the issues they care about.   Questions about the forum can be directed to GLASTPTSO@gmail.com
